Botox is a purified botulinum toxin type A that temporarily relaxes the small muscles responsible for expression lines — forehead lines, the frown lines between the brows, and crow's feet. At Aterna it is dosed conservatively and mapped to your individual muscle anatomy, so movement stays natural while the lines soften.

Adults with dynamic lines that appear on movement, anyone wanting a preventative approach in their late twenties or thirties, and clients seeking a subtle brow lift or jaw slimming. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with neuromuscular conditions such as myasthenia gravis, or with a known allergy to botulinum toxin.

• Stay upright for 4 hours and avoid lying face-down
• No rubbing, facials or massage of the area for 24 hours
• Skip heavy exercise, saunas and alcohol for 24 hours
• Gentle facial exercises on day one can help uptake

• Will I look frozen?

  No. We dose to preserve expression — the goal is a rested face, not a still one. If you prefer a stronger hold we can build up at your two-week review.
