Lip Filler

Lip enhancement with soft hyaluronic acid gel, placed to respect your existing lip anatomy. We work to the golden ratio of a slightly fuller lower lip, define the vermillion border and philtral columns where appropriate, and correct asymmetry — the aim is hydrated, balanced lips that suit your face rather than a uniform look.

   Discussion of your reference images and what your anatomy will realistically hold

   Strong topical numbing for 15–20 minutes before we start

   Slow, low-volume injection with frequent mirror checks

   Significant swelling for the first 48 hours — this is normal and expected

   Two-week review to add a little more if you want it

Adults wanting more definition, volume or symmetry in the lips, or softening of perioral lines. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding or with an active cold sore — if you are prone to cold sores tell us and we will prescribe antiviral cover.

• Ice gently in ten-minute intervals for the first day
• Expect swelling to peak at 24–48 hours and settle by day 7
• No hot drinks, spicy food, alcohol or exercise for 24 hours
• Keep lips moisturised with plain petroleum jelly, no exfoliation for a week

• Will people know?

  Not if we start with 0.5–1ml. Building gradually across sessions gives the most natural progression.
