Overview

Targeted light and laser therapy for discoloration and vascular concerns. Selected wavelengths are absorbed by melanin clusters or by haemoglobin in dilated vessels, breaking them down while sparing the surrounding skin — clearing sun spots, freckling, rosacea flushing and broken capillaries.

Benefits
  • Clears sun spots, age spots and uneven brown patches
  • Reduces facial redness, flushing and broken capillaries
  • Improves the background tone of rosacea-prone skin
  • Treats face, neck, chest and hands
  • Little to no downtime
What to Expect
  1. 01

Diagnosis first — pigment can be epidermal, dermal or hormonal, and melasma needs a different plan

  2. 02

Patch test and, where relevant, topical priming beforehand

  3. 03

Eye shields, cool gel and pulses that feel like a light elastic snap

  4. 04

Brown spots darken to coffee grounds and flake off over 7–10 days

  5. 05

Redness responds progressively across a course

Ideal Candidate

Adults with sun damage, sun spots, persistent redness or visible capillaries. Melasma requires careful, conservative settings combined with topical therapy. Not over a tan, during pregnancy, or on photosensitising medication.

Aftercare
  • Let darkened spots flake naturally — no scrubbing
  • SPF 50 daily, reapplied — sun undoes this treatment fastest
  • No heat, sauna or hot yoga for 48 hours
  • Gentle skincare for the first week
Frequently Asked
  • Treated spots are removed, but new sun exposure creates new ones. Daily SPF and annual maintenance keep skin clear.
